HOW GREEN IS ONLINE FOOD SHOPPING?
Ever wonder if buying your pancakes, waffles, muffins, syrup and honey from Cook-in-the-Kitchen online is as green as driving to the store?

A recent study shows that e-commerce reduces the environmental impact of shopping by consuming about one-third less energy than traditional retail, but not if you choose express airmail, of course.

The study by Carnegie Mellon's Green Design Institute gives a scientific estimate of e-commerce's green benefits. E-commerce not only uses less energy, but its carbon footprint is also one-third less than bricks & mortar retail.
